WBE Canada Board of Directors Announces Update to its WBE Certification Policy

WBE Canada’s Certification Committee recently reviewed all of its Certification policies and processes and a new updated WBE Certification Policy was approved by the Board of Directors this February.

WBE Canada provides globally recognized, credible, and esteemed validation of compliance with corporate and government supplier diversity programs for Canadian Women Business Enterprises (WBEs). Businesses must be 51% or more owned, managed and controlled by woman/women. Businesses must be headquartered in Canada or owned by Canadians. WBE Canada certification is recognized by government organizations and top organizations in industries like finance, automotive, tech, telecom, promotional products and many others in Canada, USA and beyond.

The updated WBE Certification Policy is effective immediately and the updated document has been added to the WBE Canada website and is now available to all women-owned businesses considering certification.
