Supplier Diversity in Canada – Research and analysis of the next step in diversity and inclusion for forward-looking organizations is a 2016 landmark report measuring supplier diversity. The report was produced by the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion in partnership with the University of Manitoba, Asper School of Business, Department of Supply Chain Management.
This report highlights the importance of supplier diversity and the crucial role it plays in creating true inclusion and diversity in the workplace. It also explores promising practices that organizations with supplier diversity programs are currently following while sharing key recommendations and advice for implementing supplier diversity.
Proving beyond a reasonable doubt that there is a strong business case for supplier diversity, the report ultimately aims at inspiring more organizations in Canada to begin their progress on supplier diversity so as to reap the benefits of the full cycle of diversity and inclusion.
