WBE Canada Launches Canada’s First Supplier Diversity Data Services

Women Business Enterprises Canada Council (WBE Canada) is thrilled to announce that its latest support program “Supplier Diversity Data Services” is now available to all of our Corporate and Government Member Organizations.

WBE Canada Team and the Business Development Committee partnered with B2Gnow for the development of these services which were designed in 2019, tested in 2020 and as of this February they are now available to all Corporate Members of WBE Canada at an incredibly reasonable cost. This is the first venture of its kind, specifically designed to fill the gap in supplier diversity programs in Canada.

Members can now take advantage of WBE Canada’s best-in-class data services to support the growth of their supplier diversity journey. As part of the WBE Canada Corporate/Government membership, we will offer a complimentary data scrub – an assessment of your current supplier diversity program, analysis of your current vendor list to identify diverse suppliers and confidential results provided to you to support and analyze your program.

This service comes in addition to the Supplier Diversity Accelerator, launched in 2020, to provide member organizations with strategic support and know-how on development and growth of supplier diversity programs and increased opportunities for Canadian Women Business Enterprises (WBEs).

I am thrilled to launch Supplier Diversity Data Services to our entire Corporate and Government Membership. This project started as a response to the gap in the market,” said Silvia Pencak, President of WBE Canada. “When I heard about the difficulty our Corporate Member organizations are experiencing processing supplier diversity data, I knew that we need to do something about it. This solution is a result of many conversations, tests and improvements as we eagerly seek to make supplier diversity easier for our Member organizations. I hope that this solution, which significantly lowers the workload and simplifies the processes on the buyer side, will help us create more interest among corporations and government organizations across Canada, accelerate supplier diversity and create new opportunities for Canadian Women Business Enterprises in supply chains.

Our continuing partnership and specifically the development of this new venture with B2Gnow will allow WBE Canada to fully support its members by confidentially collecting, analyzing and reporting accurate supplier diversity data and leveraging existing technology to streamline and automate supplier diversity tasks for them.
