Media Release – WBE Canada Launches New Website & Branding

September 17, 2018

TORONTO, September 17, 2018

WBE Canada is pleased to announce the official launch of their new and completely redesigned website. The site features improved design, navigation, functionality, content and branding, offering a richer and more user-friendly experience.

“Our newly-designed, mobile-friendly website focuses on improved visitor experience,” says Silvia Pencak, President of WBE Canada. “It offers its visitors greater insight into what our organization does, the benefits we offer for women-owned businesses, corporations, government organizations and our current and potential strategic partners.

We are looking forward to using our new site to connect with our audiences, share the latest updates and upcoming events, and feature great stories from our community.”

The website launch coincides with the 2018 Annual WBE Conference “Building to the Future” in Toronto on September 26th and 27th. These two action-packed days will bring together a community of 200+ women-owned businesses, certified diverse suppliers, corporations, procurement professionals, government agencies and regional partners for learning, knowledge sharing and networking.

As Silvia Pencak states, “This is the perfect time to launch a new website. As a new President of WBE Canada, I am glad that this website offers not only a fresh, modern look, but also that it mirrors a renewed commitment to supplier diversity and supporting Canadian Women Business Enterprises (WBEs).

With our upcoming Annual Conference focusing on support, networking and business opportunities for our WBEs and new vendor connections for WBE Canada’s Corporate Members, our team believes that this will be our best conference yet. Where else can you be in a room full of diverse suppliers, corporate and government buyers, all ready to network and support each other?

I might be biased, but if there is one event that should be a MUST-ATTEND for Canadian women-owned businesses, I believe that our 2018 Annual Conference is that place. Join us to learn about what other changes and improvements are coming to WBE Canada in the upcoming months and prepare your business or organization for this journey.”

Get your tickets for the conference before Sept. 24.
