Laura Didyk Joins WBE Canada Board of Directors

WBE Canada Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Laura Didyk, Vice President and National Lead Women Entrepreneurs at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) joined the Board as the newest member. 

BDC has been a WBE Canada Corporate Member since June 2018. It is the only bank devoted exclusively to entrepreneurs and has made supporting the growth and success of women entrepreneurs a priority. With a focus on small and medium-sized businesses, it provides businesses in all industries with financing, advice and access to networks that all entrepreneurs need to grow their business. 

In her role as Vice President and National Lead Women Entrepreneurs, Laura Didyk leads the bank’s national strategy to support Canadian women entrepreneurs and ensures that strategy is integrated across the entire bank.

Laura has always been passionate about entrepreneurship. Since 1994, she has held progressively senior roles at BDC across many divisions of the bank. From consulting and finance, to branch support and subordinate financing, Laura has worked with all types of entrepreneurs, at all stages of their business, helping them access the advice and capital needed to grow and succeed.
