WBE Canada Adds Second WBE Representative to Board of Directors

Women Business Enterprises Canada Council (WBE Canada) is pleased to announce that effective immediately, our Certified WBE Community will now have two representatives at the Board of Directors. Joining Maryse Benhoff, Chair of the Supplier Advisory Committee (SAC) is Kim Ades, certified WBE and Vice-Chair of SAC. WBEs have been represented at the Board level since 2018 in an effort to ensure better understanding, share grassroots knowledge and build strategic collaboration between women-owned suppliers and corporate and government buyers.

Kim Ades is President and Founder of Frame of Mind ConsultingTM and JournalEngineTM Software. She is recognized as an expert in the area of thought mastery and mental toughness. As well as teaching and coaching leaders, parents and influencers worldwide, Kim has been a popular contributor, panelist and session leader at WBE Canada’s Annual Conferences and webinars for the past few years. Her dedication to the success of WBEs shines through her active participation on SAC and enthusiastic contribution at events and monthly WBE Meetups. Kim has been a certified WBE since 2018.

I am extremely excited and honoured to be joining the board this year. There’s no better way to make a difference than having a seat at the table! My goal is to represent the interests of WBE Certified Suppliers and work with WBE’s to significantly increase purchasing opportunities and transactions. I am looking forward to a stellar year!”, said Kim Ades.
