Andrea LochheadAndrea Lochhead

Andrea is the National Director & Program Lead, The Scotiabank Women Initiative, Canadian Banking. Andrea is responsible nationally for the program throughout the retail, small business and commercial streams as well as supports the wealth and global markets teams. The Scotiabank Women Initiative is a comprehensive program to help advance women-owned and women-led businesses across Canada through three key pillars: Access to Capital, Advisory and Education. Andrea’s previous position with Scotiabank prior to this was as District Vice President, where she was responsible for the Retail and Small Business Branch Banking across Eastern Manitoba as well as Northwestern Ontario.

Andrea Lochhead has been in the financial services industry for the past 20 years and her career spans progressive executive level tenures with three of Canada’s top 5 banks, a top credit union and the fastest growing Canadian Group Benefits Third Party Administration Company in Canada. Andrea is also a founding member of the Women in Capital Markets MB/Sask chapter and sits on the Board of the Royal MTC.

Andrea has a wealth of leadership and team development experience attained throughout her career in financial services. Andrea’s passion for business was forged while achieving her formal education at Queen’s University, University of Ottawa and the University of Phoenix. Andrea continued to work with financial institutions while pursuing her academic goals, obtaining her MBA in 2007.

 

Katherine Pankratz

Katherine is Director of Global Procurement Engagement and Governance at Scotiabank. As part of her responsibilities, Katherine manages the Responsible Procurement programme within the Bank’s Global Procurement Services. The programme’s mandate is to further Procurement’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) leadership while aligning with the Bank’s overall ESG goals and strategies. This programme, which includes Supplier Diversity, has three main pillars: Environmental Stewardship; Social Inclusivity and Governance Leadership. Katherine is passionate about sustainability and the significant role it plays in Procurement. She holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and has completed further Graduate Studies at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) at Cambridge University, UK. She has worked in Sustainable Procurement for the past 20 years, six of those spent at Scotiabank.

 

Lisa Corbin

Meet Lisa Corbin (formerly known as Sherlene Corbin), a dynamic, analytical, and results-oriented IT Program Leader with over 15 years of software experience. Currently a Director of Software Sourcing/Procurement at Scotiabank, Lisa has a strong background in software services, growth management, client services, solutions implementation, strategic planning, project management, change management, team development, innovation management, client relations, and compliance. Lisa has the ability to align compliance, sourcing, talent, and process needs within a global strategy and a $300M book of business, and has experience leading requirements gathering, feedback implementation, and data-driven recommendations while working directly with high-profile client executive teams. This year, Lisa is focused on sharing her experience through the development of frameworks and training as the Director for strategic projects.

In her personal life, Lisa is a proud parent of a 15 year-old and has been happily married for 16 years. When she’s not working, Lisa loves to cook and try out new recipes in the kitchen.
