Meet the presenters:

Anni Shetty
Procurement Specialist, Ontario Power Generation

Anni Shetty joined the OPG RG team in April 2023 as a procurement specialist. She has over 16 years of experience in procurement, contract management, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management. Before joining OPG, Anni worked at Metrolinx, Humber River Hospital, and the City of Toronto.At Metrolinx, Anni managed an annual spend of over $1 billion with strategic Tier 1 suppliers. She led large-scale process improvements, controlled third-party risks, and optimized enterprise contractual agreements to create valuable strategic partnerships. Additionally, she managed the asset management process and negotiated contracts by developing sourcing strategies that helped reduce contract complexities.

Babak Kamalizonouzi
Sr. Procurement Specialist | Category Management Construction & RG Systems, Ontario Power Generation

Babak is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 10 years of experience in Petro-chemicals, Nuclear and Hydro industries. Since joining OPG, he has been involved in managing hydro projects at Sir Adam Beck 1 & 2 in Niagara Regions (ranging from $1M to $30M). He is currently on a rotation with OPG’s supply chain leading OPG’s General Contractors Vendor of Record program with the indigenous business engagement initiatives and managing strategic partners portfolio. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western University, London, Ontario and is a professional engineer in the province of Ontario (P.Eng)

Meaghan Snow
Senior Manager Strategic Programs & SRM, Supply Chain, Ontario Power Generation

Meaghan Snow has worked at Ontario Power Generation for the last 13 years, where she has worked in Supply Chain functions in procurement, inventory management, process design and support. She is presently the Senior Manager of Strategic Programs and SRM, leading both the Supplier Diversity and Indigenous Economic Empowerment programs along with other strategic imperatives in ESG, SRM, and continuous improvement programs. Meaghan has her Micromasters in Supply Chain from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a Graduate certificate in Women in Leadership from Cornell University, a Bachelors in Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University and an Advanced Diploma in Operations Management from Durham College.
