WBE Canada’s Breakfast with Brands events are designed to be educational and informative, providing greater access to procurement networks for women-owned businesses looking to succeed in corporate supply chains.
The second event in 2019’s Breakfast with Brands series hosted by The Women Business Enterprises Canada Council (WBE Canada) brings together certified women owned businesses and buyers from Automotive industry from Canada and the US. This event offers an opportunity for exceptional networking, learning, professional development and connections between certified diverse suppliers and corporations wanting to diversify their supply chains.

Amanda Krogol
Amanda Krogol serves as a Supplier Diversity Program Manager for General Motors (GM) and has been a member of this team for over 3 years. She began her career with GM in April 2013 where she was a Buyer for Health Services & Benefits for three years. During this period as a Buyer, Amanda volunteered as the Supplier Diversity Lead for Indirect Materials, Machinery & Equipment. It was this experience that lead her to seek a full-time position on the Supplier Diversity team in 2016.
As a Program Manager, Amanda is responsible for the inclusion strategy for all Direct SMT’s which include Body/Exterior, Chassis, Electrical, Thermal Systems, Interior/Safety, Global Propulsion Systems, and Customer Care & Aftersales. It is her responsibility to ensure the inclusion of diverse suppliers (MBE, WBE, SDVOB, VOB, LGBTBE, Small Business) within sourcing activities. Additionally, Amanda is the Advocacy Group Lead for National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC), Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce (APACC), US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC), National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), Pure Michigan, US Business Leadership Network (USBLN), Veteran Owned Business Roundtable (VOBRT), Canadian Aboriginal & Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC), and WBE Canada.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University. She has also successfully completed the Supplier Diversity Professional Excellence Program through the Tuck School of Business. She is a member of the Veteran Owned Business Corporate Advisory Board, as well as the NVBDC Corporate Relations Committee. Since graduating from MSU, Amanda has accumulated over 15 years of experience in Purchasing and Supplier Diversity and 12 years within Automotive.
